TEAM VDM IS HEADED TO NEW YORK! 

Congratulations to current Van Der Meer Tennis Academy student Bella Payne and her doubles partner, Sara Shumate, on winning the USTA Billie Jean King Girls’ 18s National Doubles Championship in San Diego!

Bella and Sara earned the title with an impressive 6–2, 6–1 victory, securing a coveted wild card spot into the women’s doubles main draw at the 2026 US Open.

We’re incredibly proud of Bella and grateful to her VDM Academy coach, Brian De Villiers, for his guidance and dedication throughout her development.

Van Der Meer will also be represented by Wimbledon 14U champion Isha Manchala, who will compete in the US Open junior draw!
