🏆 WIMBLEDON CHAMPION! 🏆
Everyone at Van Der Meer Tennis Academy is incredibly proud to congratulate Isha Manchala on winning the 2026 Wimbledon Girls’ 14-and-Under Singles Championship!

The 13-year-old VDM Tennis Academy student battled through a thrilling three-set final against Ukraine’s Mariia Kocherzhenko, winning 7-5, 2-6, 10-8 to bring the Wimbledon trophy home to Hilton Head Island.

🇺🇸 With this historic victory, Isha became the first American ever to win Wimbledon’s Girls’ 14-and-Under Championship!

Isha entered Wimbledon as the No. 1-rated girls’ 14-and-under player in the world according to UTR, and her performance on one of tennis’s greatest stages demonstrated the determination, composure and competitive spirit that have made her such an exceptional young player.

Those of us who have watched Isha train at VDM know that this championship is about much more than talent. It reflects the tremendous work ethic, sportsmanship, discipline and dedication she brings to the court every day. We are especially proud of the way she represents herself, her family, her coaches, Van Der Meer Tennis Academy and the Hilton Head community.

Congratulations also to Isha’s family, her brother Ricky and her coach, VDM Tennis Academy Co-Director Derek Porter, who have supported her throughout this remarkable journey.

And this is only the beginning! Isha is scheduled to make her professional debut at the Dennis Van der Meer Shipyard Cup Women’s Pro Circuit $15K, taking place October 26–November 1, 2026, at the Van Der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club on Hilton Head Island.

Congratulations Isha! We could not be prouder, and we are excited to watch how far your talent, character and determination will take you. The future is incredibly bright!
